There will be a main prize(s) for all 2008 TIMA winners as well as a unique prize per TIMA category. We are adding new prizes on a regular basis. The prizes are specifically geared towards the genre of each category. Below you will find information on the prizes we have confirmed.

MXPLAY offers music fans an unprecedented experience by rendering music in a 3D Audiospace, providing a "live" and immersive sensation. MXPLAY is also the only open music platform allowing fans to discover, listen and share music from anywhere on the web. Once you experience MXPLAY, digital music
will never be the same.
Each 2008 TIMA winning artist will have their own AudioSpace mashup featured
in MXPLAY where their audio-video mash-up streams will be available to music
fans worldwide.
Moreover, MXPLAY will provide exposure to all TIMA previous years winners by
streaming tracks from previous years winners through the TIMA featured
website inside MXPLAY.
All 2008 winners will have a chance to be invited to perform at the 2009 Toronto Independent Music Awards, tentatively scheduled for Thurs July 31st @ The Phoenix Concert Theatre. 2008 winners will showcase for industry VIPs, media representatives and music related companies.
All winners will perform on 89.5 CIUT within a year of the 2008 TIMAs
Tambourine will provide press coverage for all TIMA 2008 winners and will give an invitation to the winners to perform at Tambourine's music series, beginning after the TIMA award ceremony.
All winning bands will receive press coverage (online and print with audio and video) on our new website: brief bio, short Q&A and included links to audio files and videos.
